When I say my heart skipped a beat... I had seen so many beautiful pieces on this day and was really on the hunt for some candle sticks (I burn candles nearly 365 days of the year) and was keen to find some unique and one of a kind pieces. We had been exploring a beautiful vintage fabric shoppe - the famed Francine's in Isle de la Sorgue - and I glanced up onto one of the tallest shelves and voila! There she was. It required some translation, a ladder and a wee bit of negotiation, but this piece is truly stunning & I still get excited thinking about this find!
